The pub is really lovely and traditional.We decided to have a lunchtime snack...Our Mediterranean baguettes were really awful, they tasted like microwaved tomato and mushroom with a bit of goats cheese, no flavour or seasoning at all...ordered at 1:45pm so the kitchen could possibly run out of stuff! We could see through the glass door window to the kitchen and to our horror the girl in the kitchen was eating (with her hands) whilst preparing our food so kind of put us off before we even got our food.Cider was great though and the bartender was very attentive.
A perfect old Yorkshire pub. Incredible building with food/drink that lives up to it's charm.
Good atmosphere and nice rustic decor. Very good home-made food.
